In dat geval, opnieuw downloaden, maar niet "openen" maar "opslaan". Hierna eerst van de opgeslagen file de "eigenschappen" bij "compatibiliteit" op "administrator" zetten.

This is a full working version.

This version supports the use of texts made with all windows fonts.

This version has full UNDO functions.

This version supports much more in- and exportfilters than the versions before.

Demo version (unregistered) : limited to 1000 drawingpoints and 3 lines of text.

Junior version (registered) : Almost unlimited drawing points up to 128.000, which is more than enough for all drawings.

Text module (registered) : Use of more than 500 lines of text.

Vectorise module (registered): Full use of vectorising bitmap files.

In that case, download again, and save the file.(not "open"). After that, change the properties of the downloaded file at "compatibility" to "administrator.

Then unpack.(=run)

**** If you try download from behind a firewall, you may get an error "Error opening 'simplemail/.dbf': No such file or directory"

This version is for Windows 95 to Windows Vista users.

INSTALLATION upgrade (if you downloaded the upgrade version only):

Remember where you put the downloaded file.

To install, choose 'OPEN MAP' after the download is completed .(on Windows 95 and Windows 98 first edition this question is not there. Therefor you need to use your windows explorer to go to the place where you saved the downloaded file) . You can also use from START, FIND file "dahsign_upgrade.exe " to find the location.

Double click the file dahsign_upgrade.exe

The file is packed, and will automatically unpack into c:\Program Files\DahediSign and overwrite the older version. It will NOT overwrite or delete your drawing files.

If you have installed the older version in an other directory than the default c:\Program Files\DahediSign, you need to select the directory where it was installed the first time.

Click on 'UNZIP' to unpack the files. After unpacking, close the Winzip program.

If you start DahediSign, the upgrade will be ready and you can explore what is new.

After installing: Start the Program

Go to START menu, go to DahediSign and click on DahediSign and the program starts.

During the first time starting an icon will be created on your desktop for starting the program the next time.

First the program asks for a language ( EN, NL, DE or NO for now, other languages will follow later).

Then the program asks for the plotter you want to use and on what port.

After clicking OK, the program warns that you must have installed a Dahedi plotter driver.

Follow the leads there to install the driver if you directly want to plot, but it is not needed to view the program.
